Thyroid is the one of the key organ as it is a large ductless gland in the neck which secretes hormones regulating growth and development through the rate of metabolism and maintaining metabolic dynamic at par. Needless to say it is also more vulnerable to cause some complication and apparently there are many factors that can cause many types of thyroid complications. Most of the thyroid disease causes when the thyroid gland doesn’t supply the enough amount of hormones needed by the body. If the thyroid is overactive, it releases too much thyroid hormone into the bloodstream, resulting in hyperthyroidism. Indeed there are many types of thyroid complication can be traced and each type might or might not pose similar types of symptoms as follows:

Goiter: It is one of the commonly cause disease, and considered as an orthopedic complication. It is cause due to swelled up thyroid gland because of iodine deficiency and most of the iodine deficiency can be avoided by adding iodized salt in your meal, which is universally available. It is likely to cause at any age, frequently in areas of the world where foods rich in iodine are in short supply. However, goiters are more common after the age of 40 and in women, who are more likely to have thyroid disorders. Some of other risk factors include family medical history, certain medication usage, pregnancy, and radiation exposure. Reason could be any but there are some symptoms like swelling or stiffness in the neck, breathing and/or swallowing difficulties, coughing or wheezing and hoarseness of voice.

Hashimoto’s Disease: It happen when immune system went under panic mode and gradually degraded the thyroid glands ability to productive even sufficient amount of hormones, which it is entitled to do. It is uncertain to diagnosed since it doesn’t cause severe symptoms and often person could gets confused as it might just seems like you have some other disease, if only judged by the course of symptoms it cause. And some other symptoms like, fatigue, depression, constipation, mild weight gain, dry skin, dry and thinning hair, pale or puffy face, heavy and irregular menstruation, intolerance to cold and enlarged thyroid (goiter).

Graves’s disease: It instead of degrading its ability of thyroid glands it attacks the causes glands produce more and more hormone than it is needed. No one would bat an eye as it boosts metabolism and it is a sign of energetic body. But such hyperthyroidism can cause some symptoms like anxiety, irritability, fatigue, hand tremors, increased or irregular heartbeat, excessive sweating, difficulty sleeping, diarrhea or frequent bowel movements, altered menstrual cycle, enlarged thyroid (goiter) and bulging eyes and vision problems.

Thyroid Nodules:
Thought it is still uncertain as what exact factor that causes the inflammation under the thyroid glands, but in most cases there is where iodine deficiency combined with Hashimoto’s disease’s symptom can cause it. It can take a form of solid or jelly like substance and that too regardless gender can be victim of it. There are no direct symptoms; there are some symptoms like high pulse rate, nervousness, boosted appetite, tremors, weight loss and clammy skin. If there is case of symptoms associated with Hashimoto’s disease then some of the most sighted symptoms are fatigue, gradual obesity, hair loss, dry skin and cold intolerance.
Though in most cases  it takes time for thyroid conditions to get better and it is also needed to follow certain diet changes to make best out of prescribed medication course.
